Aloha, I'm Magdy, the founder of House of Portraits.

Photography has always been about so much more than taking beautiful pictures. To me, it's about preserving the people, pets, passions, and businesses that make up our lives, and creating photographs that continue to tell those stories for years to come.

After years of photographing all across Kauaʻi, I found myself dreaming of a dedicated space where creativity wouldn't depend on the weather, where every client could feel comfortable, and where photographers and entrepreneurs alike would have a place to create with intention. That dream became The House of Portraits.

I wanted this studio to be more than four walls and a backdrop. I wanted it to feel welcoming, inspiring, and versatile, a place where a family can celebrate a new chapter, a business owner can build a brand they're proud of, a beloved pet can be honored, or a fellow creative can bring their own vision to life.

Whether you're here for timeless portraits, professional branding imagery, or to rent the studio for your own creative work, my hope is that you leave with something meaningful: beautiful photographs, renewed confidence, or simply the feeling that your story was seen and celebrated.
